- Italian Garden with Ancient Lemon House
Considered the most beautiful historical residence on Lake Garda, it was built from 1749 onwards by Count Giovanni Antonio Bettoni in the Neoclassical style.
The villa has a balustrade on the roof with stone statues of mythological subjects. Inside are paintings and frescoes of considerable artistic value.
The building is connected by two overhead bridges to a large monumental Italian-style garden, which is particularly scenic.
Over time, the villa has hosted important personalities, including Napoleon Bonaparte (whose bedroom is preserved), Victor Hugo, and the composers Pietro Mascagni and Giacomo Puccini.
Villa Bettoni is still inhabited by descendants of the family who will accompany you on a tour of the villa and the magnificent outdoor lemon house.
